Both bedrooms have their own balconies and furniture for you to take in the views. Even though the airport is an hour away by car it can be seen across the bay in the distance from the balconies and provides added interest.

The downstairs is open plan and has quality leather furniture from SCS exported from the UK, with associated furniture produced by REH Kennedy Ltd (leading suppliers to Harrods). There is a marble dining table with 6 leather seats in the dining area. Also on the ground floor is a toilet and shower/utility room. A marble staircase leads up to the bedrooms and further washrooms, with some holiday reading material on the landing.  

We supply towels, pool towels and linen but ask clients to bring their own beach towels. A hair dryer is also provided. We have an English caretaker and her husband looks after the pool for you.

We will try and fit in with YOUR arrival days as we know that the flight days are variable. You can either fly direct to Kefalonia, or go via Athens. If you have the time the drive to Italy can be enjoyable and the ferry crossing from Italy to Greece is like a mini cruise and is very enjoyable. You can even fly to Ancona in Italy with Ryanair and then take the overnight Luxury Ferry to Kefalonia via Patras on the Greek Mainland. The newest route that has opened up is from Stansted to Kefalonia or you can take a flight to Athens with a connecting flight onto the island.

Car Hire is essential (see links). You can only get to appreciate the Island fully by days out exploring and therefore we recommend that you do some homework before you arrive to get the very most from your visit. We can organise a rental car for you as well as supplying suggestions and directions for your short onward trip from the port or airport to the villa. The main town where Villa Kef is situated on Kefalonia is Lixouri and this is about 10 minutes away by car and can be easily located on any map.
